Rita is a gorgeous adult female boa constrictor. She is one of the best-tempered snakes we've ever worked with. She's extremely calm and curious. She does have a facial deformity which we had checked out by our vet. The vet believes it was caused by chronic nose rubbing or stomatitis. It does not seem to cause her any issues. We would recommend housing her in a large enclosure with some height to prevent nose rubbing. She's very active and would love to have lots of space and enrichment! Her adoption fee is $75. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval. Due to the current pandemic, adoptions will be performed with social distancing in mind.
