I am currently seeking a room for rent (private bath preferred) in New Castle County or northern part of Kent County. I owned a home in Camden Delaware when I first moved down to Delaware from North Jersey. Absolutely loved it, was in a beautiful brand new community. I was close to my father in Harrington, however my commute back up to North Jersey to see the children and my granddaughter became too much. Might I also add that the job market just is not great down there. Long story short, I became the assistant director at a West Chester PA child care Center and lived in Newark Delaware. Then the covid happened. I went through half of my savings during that time because our daycare center had shut down. Right now I’m basically starting all over. I’ve taken a job in North Jersey where the pay is excellent. I stay with my daughter during the week but would love to be back in Delaware for my long weekends, as of July I’ll be off Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday. I long to be home in Delaware during those long weekends to spend time with friends and to be away from the hustle and bustle. Although I would only be there for weekends in the beginning, and long weekend starting in July I’m perfectly fine with paying the full price of a rental. I am a 50 year old female, Christian, extremely clean and orderly. Kids are grown, no pets. Looking to settle in somewhere by the end of June.
