Hill Country Steel is a structural steel fabricator with 80+ employees. We are currently seeking to fill a position for an operator for flame cut coping machine. MUST HAVE EXPERENCE. Job Description: • Read and interpret shop drawing and be able to work from cut list. • Read work order, instructions, or processing chart. • Using equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, come-a-longs, hydraulic jacks, and rigging equipment. • Determine the best methods to preform rework of items as directed by the Shop Supervisor. • Ensure that all steps, inspections, and other instructions as shown are followed and documented, and that material and part identification is maintained. • Ensure that appropriate safety practices, equipment, and gear is used. • Follow verbal instructions and keep a steady work pace throughout shift. • Work 40 hours regularly, and 50+ when necessary (overtime is mandatory). • Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
