We have a Great Pyrenees looking for his forever home. He’s about 9 months old and is not neutered. We took him in because he was in a rough situation where the owner did not have time due to work and very limited space for him and was needing a home ASAP. He has done well with us, very sweet boy. He knows commands like sit and paw. He whines when he has to go outside to do his business or stands by the door. He’s weighing in at about 72-73 pounds but I expect for him to gain at least 20 more pounds if not more. He is the sweetest boy and just lays around waiting for a hug or belly rub. He is an inside dog. I do let him out to use the bathroom several times during the day and will hang out outside if you’re outside but does not want to be be outside by himself. He does well with dogs. I haven’t noticed excessive barking but occasionally when he’s playing or wants to tell you something. I have 3 dogs and he has done well with them except for the fact that he wants to play and mine don’t really want to play they just want to sleep all day. I’m looking for someone who has experience with Pyrenees or already have one would be ideal. He does need a house with a backyard and fence at the minimum, large space or property would be ideal. If you are looking for a dog for just a few months this is not the dog for you. I will ask a lot of questions so please don’t get offended I just need to make sure you are the right fit for him. He has already bounced around from home to home and I want his next home to be the last. I will need to do a home check and verify Vet references.
