Job Description Colorwheels Northwest Corporation has been in business in Hillsboro, OR since 2001. We specialize in paint reconditioning and refinishing, mostly for local dealership high-end cars. We do some work on insurance claims, but do not perform major collision jobs. We occasionally will restore a collector's car or even paint an aircraft. We also provide water transfer printing services. We currently have 4 people in our 10,000 sq. ft shop and one person doing lot-based repairs remotely. We are looking for a Mid Prep Technician. Hours are typically 8:00-5:30 with some optional Saturdays. Your responsibilities will include: - Picking up and delivering cars at dealerships - Removing body parts for painting - Repairing and finish sanding plastic body parts, ready for paint - Color sanding and buffing of re-painted parts - Re-installation of body parts - Plastic welding skill is a plus We'd love to get a car enthusiast or a professional body shop person who's looking for a low stress work environment. We're also willing to train someone eager to learn a valuable skill. ***You must provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable on our company policy.**** Pay rate will be based on prior experience.
