Hey hey, so I am an experienced lead guitarist looking to join a band. I have recently moved back to Portland after being away for 3 years. Originally learned to play based off of the influence of Zeppelin, Hendrix and Stevie ray, all that guitar heavy classic rock, but I am also infuenced by modern players like tom Morello, zack wylde,john 5, and buckethead. My style generally comes off heavy punk / hard rock, but i am comfortable in most genres including prog. and jazz. I have a bunch of original music and play a ton of covers and always willing to learn more songs I have about 8 years experience in the northwest music scene as far as performing, recording, touring and putting on local shows. I have been in decently successful local bands in portland, in the past and have played most of the venues in the metro area, including opening for bands like Hed Pe, puddle of mud, Mushroomhead, and guttermouth. I am open to being in more than one band at once and am also available for fill in and studio work at low rates. I am very motivated and drivin to practice, perform and push the band into the scene. aside from wanting to be in a group, I can also fill in for other players or guest feature on songs.
