Energetic dog looking for forever home

1 year old un-neutered male jack Russell chihuahua mix Great with our kids (ages 7&10), has never been around babies/toddlers. He is often seen cuddling on the couch with them. Gets along great with our other dog and loves the cats. He tries to herd the horses and cows. We have a mean rooster who he often brawls with when provoked but on his own he doesn’t bother the chickens. We have had a really hard time making this decision. I am a strong believer in once you get a dog it is your responsibility forever but ultimately I think he would be happier in a home that had more time for his energy and would be safer not using his energy to herd huge animals. He is potty trained- he will spray like a typical not neutered male dog- when he is in the house we keep a wrap on. He is currently due for all routine 1 year old shots. He is crated at night. Vet reference required. Preferred family with experience with high energy dogs. Sorry to anyone who emailed after our last post- we had to give it one more shot to see if we could keep him. Like I said not an easy decision at all!!
