Title: Groundskeeper FT & PT Positions Hours Vary Weekends & 2nd Shift Department: Maintenance BKSQ Supervisor: Property Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Support of current maintenance team with projects, including quarterly filter changes and garage light fixture retrofitting, use of ladder up to height of 15 feet 2. Perform tasks common to the outdoor grounds and garage including, but not limited to, daily trash pick-up, window cleaning, vacuuming mats/elevator rugs and tracks, sweeping and mopping concrete stairs & landings 3. Perform campus wide general maintenance and repairs by installing, removing, repairing, and maintaining landscape lighting, signage, chains, gates, fences, etc. as needed 4. Seasonal work related to winterization and summer. Placement/removal of outdoor furniture & tent, power washing, application of concrete sealant, application of snow melt on walkways, as well as removal of excess snow melt 5. Performs painting work including preparation, patching, finishing, and maintaining building structures, walls, woodwork, furniture, and equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS/JOB REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis • Prolonged walking/standing and frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching on a daily basis. • Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual, electrically, or gas powered equipment and machines • Must be able to move throughout assigned areas, as work is primarily outdoors, year round • At least 1 year prior experience strongly preferred.
