General Warehouse Labor, Movers and Packers Needed - E. E. Ward Moving & Storage - Grove City, OH E. E. Ward Moving & Storage is hiring for general warehouse labor, movers, and packers. We have an immediate need for all these positions during our peak Summer months. We offer on-the-job training, an hourly rate of $15-$16 per hour, potential 40 hour work week, schedule includes Monday-Saturday 7AM-5PM (typical) but let us know what days you can work and we'll coordinate with your schedule. Also, you'll be working with a team of excellent individuals. Potential for long-term employment for those that qualify. Stop by our location at 2235 Southwest Blvd., Suite H, Grove City, OH 43123 on Wednesdays for an interview. General Warehouse: · Load and unload trucks and vaults using proper lifting techniques · Use of pallet jacks and hand jacks for loading and unload purposes · Pad all items with furniture pad, secure with tape or rubber bands - · Place padded items in storage vaults for safe, damage free storage · Remove items from vaults and trucks; stack them in a manner which is safe and results in no damages · Record inventory items · Pick both commercial and residential warehouse items from racking · Palletize customer freight in prepare for storage · Break down, stack and sort new/used packing materials · Assist drivers in loading and unloading · Collect debris in warehouse and dispose of it in dumpster · Keep dock doors clear, closed and chained · Other miscellaneous activities to support the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Assistant Movers and Packers: · Assist drivers at customer sites with packing, moving and loading items for residential and commercial customers · Job duties listed above under General Warehouse · Other miscellaneous activities to support our driver moving crews Requirements · Good communication skills with fellow team members · Good customer service skills · Excellent attendance and on-time performance · Hourly rate between $15 - $16 per hour depending on experience E.E.
