Description
The Diesel Mechanic will perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to our fleet of semi-trucks and trailers.
Position Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on the trucks in the fleet.
Diagnose truck failures, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary.
Adhere to OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory compliance standards. Ensuring ALL trucks are ALWAYS DOT compliant.
Respond to service calls from drivers after-hours nights/weekends
Maintain vehicle records using our fleet management system
Inspect newly purchased trucks
Pick up and deliver vehicles.
Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
Perform assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.
Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
2 to 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
Class A or B CDL license is preferred but not required
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

Salary and Benefits Information: The rate of pay for this position will be based on experience.
Schedule and Shift: This is a full-time position working day shift, Monday through Friday occasionally Saturday if needed. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays and take after-hour calls from drivers is required as scheduled.

Pay: $17.00 - $34.00 per hour
