Landscape Hardscape Installation Foreman Bob Cultrona Landscaping Co has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an experienced Landscape Hardscape Installation Foreman at our location in Glenwillow, Ohio. The Landscape Hardscape Installation Foreman is an experienced employee in hardscape and landscape construction and installation methods that can work with minimal supervision. This position will supervise a team of two or more in the construction of paver patios, retaining walls, landscape construction and new installations. Responsibilities • Installs paver patios, retaining walls. • Reads landscape design prints and implements the landscape construction plan. • Uses this knowledge to execute the construction plan. • Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, skid steers, excavators. • Operates vehicles such as dump trucks and truck / trailer combinations. • Routinely interacts with clients by answering questions, responding to client’s requests, making reasonable changes to the plan and providing a walk-through at the job’s completion. • Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner. • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment. • Helps with snow removal during the winter months as needed. • Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanic of needed repairs. Qualifications • The successful individual will have a working knowledge of standard construction practices and basic understanding of electricity, piping and plumbing. • 3-5 years of hardscape and landscape installation experience preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills and mechanical aptitude are a must. • Able to lead, manage and communicate with coworkers and clients. • Read & execute blueprints. • Paver, step, and wall installation with Uni-Lock or similar product(s) • Retaining wall, walkway, raised patio installation. • Recognize plant material. • Operate/use all landscape tools & equipment effectively. • Operate skid-steer & mini-excavators effectively. • Snow plowing experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license & good driving record • Ability to pass background and drug screening. • Bi-lingual abilities a plus • Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and work outside in various and inclement weather conditions.
