For over a decade, Cheap Graphic Novels has been selling high-quality graphic novels at a discounted rate to comic book readers and collectors across the country and internationally via our website (cheapgraphicnovels.com). Our growing company is in need of a Packing associate in our Los Alamitos Warehouse. This is a physical role that involves remaining on your feet for the entire day. Job Responsibilities: Carefully inspects books for damages (creases, wrinkles, dents, etc.) prior to shipping. Assembles cardboard boxes for packing. Packages books for shipment, carefully ensuring that products are received undamaged. Completes packaging in a timely manner while ensuring all boxes are processed correctly. Breaks down boxes daily. Performs other duties as assigned. Normal work Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Job Qualifications/Skills: Some experience with comic books preferred. Packing/warehouse experience a plus. Attention to detail. Lifting boxes up to 50 pounds. Standing/Remaining on feet for up to 8 hours. This position pays $13.50 per hour through a probationary period. Once production and quality standards have been met, the position pays $15.00 per hour.
