As our leaders on BOTH sides in Washington have temper tantrums and cater to their own ego, our failing infrastructure continues to crumble. In 2013 Obama made a bid deal out of visiting sites around our nation to see our failing infrastructure first hand. He vowed that something had to be done. But he did not fix our infrastructure. In 2016 Trump promised that he would make repairing our infrastructure one of his priorities. 4 years later, Trump never lifted a finger to try to fix anything. Biden has made an infrastructure bill a priority. But the two sides of our government cannot seem to sit down and work out the details. Meanwhile our freeways crumble. Our bridges fall apart. Our dams and levy systems are on the verge of failure. Our power grids and water systems are in disrepair. Our national cyber security is not keeping up with cyber criminal activity. Our borders and airports grow less secure. Our ports sink into the oceans. Our politicians on both sides are to blame for this epic failure. Where do you suppose all of the tax money that we have paid over the last fe decades have gone? Where did all of the gasoline taxes that were earmarked to maintain out highways go??? Our American infrastructure is beginning to resemble that of a 3rd world country. You might as well invest in a 4 wheel drive truck, because you will need it soon if the politicians can’t get their shit together soon.
