HEY ALL Please respond only if you really enjoy this type of music. If you enjoy practicing your instrument at home to learn how to play cover songs correctly, then you will be a good fit. If it excites you to lock in musically with your bandmates when practicing as a band and playing live at shows, then you will be an even better fit. If you’re an amateur musician who wants to learn these songs and play out in a band, that’s perfectly fine, so long you practice your ass off. Because we’re gonna play these songs and have a great time. The goal is to learn this setlist, then another one, and eventually we will have enough material to play anywhere that needs to fill a time gap. If we find our own groove, maybe we’ll even make some songs of our own. I’m a singer/vocalist, 29 years old, and I play auxiliary percussion to round out the songs. I have a home studio but I’m fine with playing at someone else’s studio, especially the drummer, because I understand the dread of having to break down a drumset every practice.
