Drive an Isuzu NPR to NYC to deliver linens to restaurants and clubs. The job entails starting early and finishing early to avoid traffic. You drive the truck to NYC, make between 15 and 25 stops. Drop off the clean linens, pick up the dirty linens, have the customer sign the invoice and drive home. Normally you are finished around 2 to 3 pm.
The job pays on commission, with 2 drivers each driver earns 4 1/2 percent of what the truck delivers. With one driver, the driver earns 6 and 1/2 percent of what the truck delivers. Currently drivers are earning between $1000 and $1300 per week. But as NYC opens and restaurants and tourism rebounds, I expect that to grow.
