Position: Maintenance Porter/ Janitorial Property Management company seeking to fill a Maintenance Porter/ Janitorial Position in the Boca/Delray area. Candidates must have prior experience in the following: • Full-time (includes weekends) • Scheduling and prioritizing daily tasks of a maintenance team • Working with contractors and vendors • Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, and electrical work including, but not limited to external and internal lighting • Operating Machinery and Tools • knowledge in ordering maintenance supplies and purchase at local hardware stores. • Ensures offices and/or locked areas are opened on schedule and that common areas are maintained in a clean condition. • Performs minor janitorial and maintenance of physical buildings, properties, including Installs/Replaces signage, light bulbs, batteries (smoke detectors) • Physically walks and inspects property on a daily basis. • Must have reliable transportation for company errands or tasks • Takes a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to ensure the job is completed. • Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses. • paints interior and exterior walls and trim. • Ensure property grounds and common areas are clean and free of debris and that all external fixtures are clean and in working order on a daily basies. • Complete assigned tasks and repairs in a safe and timely manner. • Inspect the property daily; pick up trash and debris, and reports all safety hazards or needed repairs to the Lead Maintenance. • Clean parking lot areas and all common areas free of trash and debris • Empty trash cans and move/clean trash dumpsters and surrounding areas. • Assist with removal of furniture, appliances, and debris dumpster or storage. ( when needed) • Washing of windows and other janirotail duties such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming on a daily basis. • Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor, not listed as essential job functions.
