SHIFT: afternoon (part time) starting @ 1:30PM thru 5:30PM SHIFT UPGRADE: willing to hire FULL TIME from part time success. Internal promotion. Requirements  Proven working experience as a warehouse worker  High school degree or GED  Ability to lift 50 lbs, and simultaneously in a safe manner: stand, walk, squat, bend, pulling/pushing, climb ladders, and reaching using appropriate techniques. Must be able to do repetitive motions for the duration of shift, and must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.  Able to withstand exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, due to warehouse being non-air conditioned in Florida.  Able to do simple math, able to learn various shipping software, and knowledge on how to use Internet and Windows.  Be team oriented and communicate/cooperate with supervisors and coworkers, using tact, patience and courtesy.  Have good organizational, time management, & prioritizing skills. Responsibilities  Keep a clean and safe working environment based on OSHA guidelines, appropriate lifting guidelines, and fire safety.  Appropriately and safely handle warehouse equipment.  Follow ASI quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.  Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities.  Train and provide work direction to others.  Continuously monitor space utilization, and relocate products picking locations, so layout is optimized and most favorable for efficiency & product flow. Shipping  Gather products in various warehouse locations based on order specifications, package them securely in boxes or on pallet and prepare for shipment.  Shipping orders accurately according to specifications using FedEx, UPS, and UniShippers Freight software.  Monitor shipping supplies and reorder when necessary. Receiving  Receive and process incoming warehouse stock products that arrive via container, LTL pallets, or parcels.  Report any discrepancies in received stock orders or any visible quality issues, and record damages.  Appropriately label and put away stock in designated warehouse locations.  Monitor inventory levels and complete warehouse cycle counts.
