LOCATION: Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Miami Gardens POSITION SUMMARY The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring the performance of Nanak’s maintenance standards and the management of all resources to achieve confidence and exceptional service for their accounts. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare monthly calendars based on contract service schedule. Schedule work for crews daily. Make adjustments according to weather, owner visits etc. Daily roll call of employees including arrival times of foreman and departure time of crews. Employee time starts when truck leaves the shop. Schedule alternate drivers to Minimize/prevent overtime. Loading and unloading to be done by one individual in the AM and PM. Drive time is to job only for employees. Employee’s time stops at last job excluding the driver. Fill in timesheets at least a day ahead of schedule. Indicate specific job tasks expected to perform on each job. Provide crew leader with job hours of each job to stay within. Visit crew’s onsite and provide guidance as needed. Meet quality standards. Perform quality control inspection of jobs no less than monthly. This includes noting nutrient deficiencies, pest issues, irrigation issues, and tree and/or palm trimming that may be necessary. Advise corrective measures accordingly to appropriate parties via email. Distribute work orders via email to proper individuals and prioritize based on urgency. Coordinate with department individuals to facilitate their completion. Investigate customer complaints and act accordingly. Notify customer of any potential hazards and/or liabilities in writing via email. Any correspondence with customers cc OPS Manager and/or any pertinent parties involved. Track man hours on each job assigned and stay within budget hours for the month. Do minor irrigation repairs that don’t require a tech to complete, example - clogged nozzles, head replacement, clock adjustments, etc. Identify any landscape deficiencies to generate extra billing from proposals submitted on jobs responsible for. Must take pictures of area(s). Track proposals-make sure they have gone out. Do not assume proposals for flowers and mulch are automatic. Make sure all extra work has a job number on the timesheets so that it is certain to be billed. Take corrective measures when necessary towards employees not following company guidelines. Communicate with property managers on a weekly basis. Convey problems that occur onsite with solution/corrective measures necessary followed by writing up work orders or proposal. Must include pictures of area(s) involved. Make sure that each employee is uniformed properly. Paperwork is to be filled out and signed by employee upon receipt of uniform. Hats to be worn can only be Blue baseball cap or orange safari hat. While on a jobsite, out of the vehicle have keys in pocket at all times. Inspect and review safety practices of employees. Advise employees accordingly. This includes all PPE-proper shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety vests as well as vehicle traffic cones, traffic triangles, first aid kits and fire extinguishers. Responsible for all crew equipment count. Daily piece count, monthly inventory of 2 cycle equipment. Cost of equipment that is unaccounted for is the responsibility of the supervisor excluding equipment that is missing from crew and identified same day. · Crew foreman is to write down piece count of equipment taken and returned daily. Speak to foremen at end of day. Bring any tagged equipment to the mechanic’s shop for repairs with description of issue. Responsible for filing any police reports for stolen equipment, accidents etc. Any missing stolen equipment to be taken off of inventory with mechanic. Suggest changes in work procedures. Supervise workers and provide on-site training as necessary according to specific needs of the personnel, property or plant material. Motivate, direct and identify the best employees to do the job. Coach & discipline crew members appropriately. Be certain all employees that are using round up, surguard or other chemicals have it properly stored as required by FDAC guidelines. Dept. of Agriculture spray ID cards must be in the possession of person applying chemicals. Review and enforce foreman SOP on a continual basis.
