SUNY Cortland's 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony Dear SUNY Cortland Parents/Guardians, We are excited to invite you to SUNY Cortland 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony which will be held at P.S.290Q on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:15am outside in the school yard. The following are the guidelines for attendance to the Graduation Ceremony. All scholars are to arrive dressed with their graduation cap & gown to school at 8:30am on Thursday, June 24th.Only 2 family members will be allowed to attend the ceremony. There will be no exceptions.Each scholar will receive 2 Graduation Tickets with pre-assigned seating for the ceremony.5th Grade scholars with siblings at PS290 will NOT be allowed to attend. Again only 2 family members will be allowed to attend, unless the sibling is within the 2 family member allowance, the sibling may attend.Guest will be seated 10 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.The ceremony will be live streamed and available for viewing on our school website at www.ps290q.com for family & friends to watch remotely.Safety Protocols: Mask are required to enter the school premises.Each person attending the graduation ceremony will be required to complete the DOE Health Screening prior to entering. The DOE Health Screening can be completed at https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/ and must be shown the day of the ceremony either on your mobile device or on a printed out copy.The above guidelines are in adherence with the Department of Education regulations to ensure the health and safety of all students, staff and guest. Las siguientes son las pautas para la asistencia a la ceremonia de graduación. Todos los estudiantes deben llegar vestidos con su toga y birrete de graduación a la escuela a las 8:30 am el jueves 24 de junio.Solo 2 miembros de la familia podrán asistir a la ceremonia. No habrá excepciones.Cada estudiante recibirá 2 boletos de graduación con asientos preasignados para la ceremonia.NO se permitirá asistir a los estudiantes de quinto grado con hermanos en la escuela PS290. Nuevamente, solo se permitirá la asistencia de 2 miembros de la familia, a menos que el hermano esté dentro de la asignación de 2 miembros de la familia.Los invitados se sentarán 10 minutos antes del inicio de la ceremonia.La ceremonia se transmitirá en vivo y estará disponible para su visualización en el sitio web de nuestra escuela en www.ps290q.com para que familiares y amigos la vean de forma remota.Protocolos de seguridad: Se requiere máscara para ingresar a las instalaciones de la escuela.Cada persona que asista a la ceremonia de graduación deberá completar el formulario de salud del DOE antes de ingresar. El formulario de salud del DOE se puede completar en https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/ y debe mostrarse el día de la ceremonia en su dispositivo móvil o en una copia impresa.Las pautas anteriores cumplen con las regulaciones del Departamento de Educación para garantizar la salud y seguridad de todos los estudiantes, el personal y los invitados.
