Join us for George's Birthday! Driving/parking instructions for Freeman Party Take Hwy 377 from I20 to Granbury. Continue on 377 until you cross the lake, immediately after which you will see the exit to HWY 144. Take the Hwy 144 exit and turn south (left) toward Glen Rose. You will travel past a strip center with a Brookshires store and soon you will pass Stumpy’s Marina on the left and cross a bridge over a finger of the lake. There are two entrances to the property, and we need to use them both to manage parking. First entrance: The first (immediate) left turn after the marina and bridge is on Peninsula Drive into Scenic View Estates. Take the first right off Peninsula, and that is Scenic View Court. It bends left and dips down to cross a low water bridge. As you come up the hill look to the right for a double ranch gate. You will be at 2602 Scenic View Court (GPS.) Go up the driveway through the gate and turn left. You may angle park in any of the pull out on the left side of the driveway or follow the driveway to Ishi parking pad. Watch for parking signs. Second entrance: On 144, continue south past the Scenic View Estates entrance. The next subdivision entrance on the left is Rock Harbor. You will see the big rock and sign. Turn in and you are on Rock Harbor Drive. It will dip down and cross the creek. When you come up the other side, the road splits - stay left. After the split, look left and right for parking clearings and neighbor-approved driveway options. (see signs.) Just past these first parking areas, you will see our driveway on the left. ( 220 Rock Harbor Drive per GPS) Mailbox says 200 and 220. You will see another big standing rock. You may park in the mulched area between that rock and the garage and also in the circle drive around the garage. If these areas are full, proceed to the mulched area on the left side of the driveway beyond the big rock. Unless by prior arrangement, please do not drive past the private drive sign Please park smart. Head in park where you can and make room for others to park. If we fill up everything available, there are places in the Rock Harbor Drive right of way to safely pull out park. We can help with that.
