A great day of Bacon, Beer & Bands! Join us for a day dedicated to Bacon! The day starts off at 12:30 with an official tapping of a Bacon infused keg of beer from our great friends at Generations Brewing there will be only 2 kegs so come early! 1 PM the Kirkland Lions club will be hosting a bags tournament - there will be a separate entry fee $20 per person to join the tournament that will include free entry to baconfest for details there will be a separate eventbrite event At 3 PM straight from Chicago we are super excited to have FREEBYRD a truly authentic and amazing Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band ! 5:30 we will have a bacon eating contest ! More details to come about that - But yes a bacon eating contest! Then at 6 PM Local favorites Back Country Roads will be Rocking on the patio AND the food we cant forget about the food ! Rustic oven wood fired Pizza, You're Bacon me crazy food truck, Cassie's popcorn , Cookies with flavor and a few surprises will be here all with their bacon infused Goodies! This is an 21 & over event We do have some tables & chairs - no reservations - but you are welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets. No outside food & drink allowed bags will be checked at the door. Events Venue located on the grounds of Lloyd Landscaping & Garden center in Genoa, IL.
