Shotgun Sally is now auditioning bass players. Us: We gig relentlessly. We host an every other Wednesday open jam in spring. We play every weekend, usually 2 shows, sometimes 3. We play covers and originals. we have an ep coming out on 6-19. We play for guarantees and for door - depending on the gig and circumstance. We are planning extended road trips for September and early next year. Our style of music is gutter glam - a combination of glam. sleaze and punk. Our covers are the same genre - mostly hairband hits of the late 80's early 90's. We put on a stage show - move around and entertain. We DO NOT turn down gigs We don't entertain drama. We don't care if you drink or smoke - but expect you to be pro and ready to go each and every gig for the whole gig. Our entire show is just that - a show. We run one song after the other, keep the energy up and the crowd engaged. We are a brand, not a democracy. Input always welcome, final decisions made by the bands founder. You: Have pro gear and a pro attitude. Non confrontational and free of drama Ready to go at last minutes notice. We don't have many open dates, but when we do we work till the last second trying to book them. Willing and able to travel - sometimes paying cover gigs, sometimes original shows that pay little to nothing. Quick learner who does there homework. We rehearse every other Monday and try to add 3-5 songs to the master list every 2 weeks. Understands that it's what's best for the band and the sound - not you're ego. we have a certain sound and bass tone we want. not looking for Billy Sheehan, more like Cliff Williams - less is definitely more. Open to adapting to our look and style = NO WORNSTAR EVER - We shop in the old ladies section at goodwill lol. This band is not for the faint of heart, We want someone who matches the drive and desire we have. We play and we play a ton. If you're looking for a fun hobby band its not us. If you're ready, willing and able to to put in the time and work ethic you'll have as much fun as we are and make a little money in the process. If you're out there hit us up.
