Looking for someone close to Moclips/Pacific Beach/Seabrook to do 4 hours per week of grounds keeping and other outdoor duties at top ocean-front Airbnb. You would commit to spending 4 hours per week, every week, performing the tasks listed below as initially prioritized and directed by the property manager. You would receive regular weekly automatic deposits of $120.00. Raise to $35 per hour possible after six months of successful training and performance. - trimming tree limbs, salal, huckleberry plants, ferns, etc. across 4.5 acre property, - maintaining 2,000 feet of rainforest trails by trimming, removing debris, weed-whacking, etc., - blowing off 200 ft gravel driveway, front and back porches, outdoor fire shelter, and huge set of steep beach stairs, - weed-whacking and cleaning litter from highway frontage, - weed-whacking and raking a large, park-like area and other areas around the grounds, - pressure-washing beach stairs and other surfaces around property with an available hose attachment, - chopping firewood and kindling to smaller dimensions, cleaning an outdoor fireplace, preparing fires for Airbnb guests, maintaining a "firewood bundle" for guests, - keeping outdoor BBQ clean inside and out, - possible sanding and staining of outdoor wood surfaces, as directed, - possible outside window washing using owner-provided materials and equipment, - other similar duties as requested. This is very regular work in Moclips WA in a beautiful environment overlooking the ocean. Lots of fresh air and exercise. Strong preference for someone close to Moclips/Pacific Beach/Seabrook - no farther than a half-hour drive - perhaps as far as Ocean Shores, Hoquiam, or Aberdeen. Would like this to be a long-term relationship (3+ years) with someone with a property maintenance/landscaping business, who has commercial insurance (general liability) and their own self-employment workers comp coverage, and who does similar work for others. Requires experience and skill in safely operating dangerous power/manual equipment and other tools (owner-provided as necessary), including chain saw, pole chain saw, gas-powered weed-whacker (both line and blade cutting heads), gas blower, axe and hatchet. Requires going up and down a very substantial stairway from top of beach bluff all the way to the beach - about 185 steps. Other requirements: - Must have a good eye for trimming and pruning, must be dependable, honest, and personable. - Must have own transportation. - No drug or alcohol problems, no criminal convictions for theft, fraud, or violence. - Must be reasonably presentable in appearance and sufficiently friendly to interact comfortably with any Airbnb guests encountered.
