Title: Imaging Field Service Technician Success in this full-time position to join our Service Team for OASYS Imaging Division requires a natural talent for customer service, and technical & mechanical trained factory skills to conduct maintenance on Konica Minolta MFP and Printers. OASYS also requires thorough documentation, time management, the ability to troubleshoot/educate as needed, as well as an aptitude for software applications. Job Responsibilities: • Understand, Educate, Demonstrate, & Maintain Customer equipment in the Field • Communicate by managing call log, responding to customers with a positive impression, and strive to build a client trust with customers including our OASYS, Inc. divisions • Accountable to respond to service calls in assigned territory within 1 hour. Educate by phone when possible or arrive to customer within 4 hours to repair • Support Customers by answering all questions, troubleshoot, research and resolve problems. Anticipate customer need of parts, etc. before arriving to customer location • Documentation: Track Notes, etc. on Remote Tech(equipment) screen, check in/out of each customer service call for timely reporting • Manage assigned inventory – Quarterly inventory with Purchasing • Onsite – Deliver, Install, Program, Educate, Repair, Clean Customer Equipment • Unbox, Assemble, Set-Up & Program Equipment for delivery • Preventative Maintenance - Anticipate needs, build relationships through courtesy calls • Learn software: Remote Tech, Maps or Navigation APP • Maintain and upkeep of company assigned vehicle to include mechanical maintenance, keeping vehicle clean inside and out, and getting invoices timely to Accounts Payable for payment • Understand maintenance contract agreements to quote both customers and non-customers. • Knowledge of department policies and procedures • Light Travel – Company paid education may be required for up to two (2) weeks per class, on new equipment (classes may be out of state) Qualifications and Skills: • Valid driver’s license and abstract of driving record from Dept. of Licensing • Required Konica Minolta factory service training on current models of MFP and printers • Extensive knowledge with Konica Minolta equipment preferred • Knowledge of Canon wide format, Oki, and Savin a plus • Ability to work 40 hours per week, working a full-time position using time management • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the organization • Analyze, troubleshoot, research, resolve and anticipate problems • Organized, approachable, adaptable to change, and anticipate company needs • Attention to detail and accuracy are required • Effective use of office equipment, including copiers, MFP’s, fax, scan, cell phone, APPS, etc. • Minimal annual travel for training is required for dealership agreement • Judgment/Decision making, Networking, Team Building, Initiative, Problem Solving • Follow company’s Core Values & Rules to Live by, and Handbook policies • Hold a positive attitude, self-starter, and the willingness to grow • Maintain dependable and punctual attendance • Maintain confidentiality *Benefits: Company paid vehicle; Training incentives; 9-paid days off for company recognized holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO); 100% paid medical, dental, vision, long term disability, & life insurance; Option to join 401(k) plan, as well as employee elect voluntary life insurance and voluntary short-term disability insurance.
