Stem & Stein is the Cedar Valley’s beer, wine and food tasting event of the summer! Stem & Stein is the Cedar Valley’s tasting event of the summer! Gather with friends downtown to experience an amazing selection of craft and domestic beers, wines and food from HyVee. General festival admission includes unlimited samples, commemorative tasting glass and admission to the Hy-Vee Pavilion. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Waterloo Center for the Arts. The Waterloo Center for the Arts stimulates inquiry, provokes dialogue and connects people through the arts. The Center works in partnership with the community to build a stronger appreciation for the arts and to provide cultural experiences for people of all ages. Operating under the auspices of the Waterloo Cultural and Arts Commission, the Center and its programs reflect the City of Waterloo’s commitment to and support of arts and culture.
