Bring a blanket and your own snacks / wine / beer -- let’s connect! What book do you want to exchange? Bring a book (or two) for a summer reading exchange any genre welcomed! Share what we are reading, leave with a new book to read and network with fellow Women in publishing. Meet at Lake Temescal at the North Entrance (6500 Broadway). THE MISSION of Bay Area Women in Publishing (BAWiP) is to introduce inspirational colleagues to one another in the Bay Area and to build a mutually supportive professional network for women at all stages of their careers. We are explicitly committed to advancing racial, ethnic, and LGBTQ diversity in the publishing industry and to supporting women from varied backgrounds in their efforts to fully realize their professional potential.
