Building tour of the new Carroll A. Campbell US Courthouse, led by the design team at HBRA Architects. Eligible for 1.25 LU|HSWs. In order to consolidate several Federal Judiciary programs spread throughout the upstate, HBRA of Chicago partnered with LS3P as local architect to design and construct a new federal courthouse in downtown Greenville, SC. The Carroll A. Campbell Jr. US Courthouse is approximately 193,000 square feet including seven courtrooms and nine judge chambers as well as workspace for the US Marshall Service, US probation and Pretrial services, US Attorney’s office and a federal public defenders office. The project is also pursuing LEED Gold certification. General Contractor Brasfield & Gorrie is serving as construction manager as the facility nears completion in July 2021. Please join us of a hard hat building tour led by design architect Craig Brandt and Neil Sondgeroth of HBRA. The tour has been limited to twenty persons and all participants will need to bring their own PPE which should include the following: hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and closed toe shoes. Additionally, everyone will be required to wear a mask throughout the tour. Please join us for a social hour at nearby Fireforge Crafted Beer after the tour.
