This comprehensive 4-week course will cover everything from fetal development, comfort in pregnancy, coping techniques, birth positions, a support plan for partners, and so much more. ⁣ ⁣ Your instructor will be me, Kirsten Freeman. I am a seasoned birth doula, student midwife and I have been teaching childbirth education for about 5 years. I am so passionate about helping families find their strength and courage during the birth process. Media has long portrayed birth as an event you should be 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 to participate in. When in reality it doesn’t have to be that way at all! When you are informed and motivated you can accomplish anything you’d like. ⁣ ⁣ I know, I know… the thought of taking a childbirth class may seem overwhelming, you may be wondering if you even *need* to take one in the first place, and worst of all some classes are just 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆… It is my goal to keep you and your partner engaged and learning things in way that you’ll remember when it’s most important! We’ll have lots of opportunities for hands-on activities and time to get out of your seats. 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴! ⁣ ⁣ You will have the option of creating a birth plan at the end of class. And you’ll leave each session with handouts, a full brain, and a little homework (don’t worry, it’ll be fun). ⁣ ⁣ This will be the 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 decision you’ll make when it comes to preparing for your birth experience!
