Press release from the Cobb County Government: June 7, 2021 The Vision To Learn mobile clinic will visit Cobb public libraries on 13 dates during summer break. Vision To Learn is a national nonprofit that provides free eye exams and free glasses for children in low-income areas. The summer break clinic visits will operate under health and safety protocols of Vision To Learn and Cobb County. Registration is required and space is limited. The upcoming library visits, all from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., include: Sibley Library, 1539 South Cobb Drive SE, Marietta Monday, June 29; Tuesday, June 30; Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31 South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road, Mableton Wednesday, July 1; Thursday, July 2; Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29 North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway NW, Kennesaw Monday, July 13, Tuesday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 15 Gritters Library, 880 Shaw Park Road, Marietta Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17 Vision To Learn has staged mobile clinic visits at Cobb libraries since mid-2018. These events are part of Cobb County Public Libraries' collaboration with Learn4Life, the Metro Atlanta Regional Education Partnership, for improving "cradle to career" success.
