Summary Repair and maintain equipment under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Safe and efficient operation of tools, and a careful and organized approach to completing job assignments. Must show initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision. Job Details Monitor and maintain facilities and property with safety as the highest priority. This includes some HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and other mechanical systems. Ensure a proper environment, including temperature, ventilation and accessibility which require preventative maintenance and reason anticipation of foreseeable problems. Maintain customer service standards. Respond to employee requests. Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks per directed by the Facilities Manager. May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors. About You Knowledge of and experience in all phases of building and grounds maintenance. Good mechanical skills. Knowledge of various tools, equipment and materials used in basic building maintenance. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems. Good problem solving and prioritization skills. Basic computer skills including MS Office, email and calendaring. Minimum Qualifications Forklift certification and Scissor lift experience required. 2+ years of maintenance experience. Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented and accurate, with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Supervision and people management skills. Proper use of safety equipment and safety procedures. Able to read, understand and follow written and verbal English instructions. Education Professional certificates in a Trade or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Physical Demands Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
