Job Title: Groundskeeper The groundskeeper will perform general hands-on maintenance duties for the exterior of a large private residential property. -Full-Time/Live-Out -Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (flexibility required to handle occasional emergencies) -Start Date: ASAP -Local Candidates Only Responsibilities and Duties: -Tend to daily needs of walkways, parking areas and water features. This includes things such as leaf blowing, cleaning bird droppings, cobwebbing, etc. -Clean gutters -Wash vehicles and fill with gas -Bring vehicles in for service -Cleaning and organizing the garages and shed -Perform cleaning duties including (but not limited to) window washing and cleaning exterior furniture -Daily dog poop removal -Perform minor home maintenance repairs (such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning/replacing filters, tightening screws, etc). -Provide assistance to homeowners and staff with work inside and outside the home. This may include assisting with bringing up boxes of decorations from the basement, hanging art work, etc. -Bring garbage cans to the curb on specified day of the week and bring the cans in the day after -Report necessary repair work to be done by outside vendors to the household manager -Adhere to and ensure compliance with all relevant OSHA safety regulations -Perform refurbishing projects -Supervising outside vendors -Cleaning the barbeque -Clean out water features Skills and Qualifications: -Minimum 2 years of previous applicable work experience -Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds. -Ability to climb ladders -Large Dog Friendly -Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, smoke, cold, or rain. -Ability to read English language sufficiently to understand written work orders or instructions. -Exercise problem-solving skills -Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. -Maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism Requirements: -Must have a CA Driver’s License and a clean driving record. -Must pass a background check. -Sign a contract/confidentiality form. -Fill out a W2 form for tax collecting purposes. -Must be authorized to work legally in the Unites States -Please note that our Company has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees. Benefits: -2 weeks of paid vacation.
