BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue police arrested a man Tuesday morning accused of stealing a car, crashing it, and fleeing the scene, according to investigators. Officers from Bellevue and Redmond began a search in Northeast Bellevue shortly after 9:30 a.m. Police said the ground search was centered around Bel-Road Road and NE 24th St., near Interlake High School, and a King County Sheriff's Office helicopter provided some eyes in the air. The police department confirmed an arrest on social media shortly after 10 a.m. Suspect is in custody.
