Corty & Friends 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF GEORGE HARRISON'S CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH 21+ 21+_$25 On August 1st, 1971, George Harrison & Ravi Shankar put together the world's first All Star Band Benifit Concert to raise international awareness of, and fund relief for refugees from East Pakistan, following the Bangladesh Liberation War-related genocide. Today, we face a much different crisis in the same region.... a faceless one... with the same world-crippling status. A devastating second wave of COVID-19 cases is battering India, leaving families and communities in desperate need of assistance. UNICEF is on the ground, working with partners to deliver urgently needed medical equipment, PPE, water, hygiene supplies and critical care to those in need. 50 years to the day... August 1st, 2021.... Tellus360 will host an All Star Benefit Concert.... The event will begin with spiritual sitar music; presented by John Protopapas.... Then, Corty Byron will take the stage with a ten piece band of friends; featuring familiar faces of Tellus360's long standing past as Lancaster City's best venue for live music.... All the musicians are selflessly volunteering their time, talent, and passion to help battle this urgent world crisis. Your presence at this concert will help fight the pandemic.
