100 BMOGH, presents its 19th Annual John Riche Memorial Golf Classic, our most treasured fundraising event towards community scholarships. The 100 Black Men of Greater Huntsville, Inc present its 20th Annual John Riche Memorial Golf Classic. Over the years, the John Riche Memorial Golf Classic has become our most treasured fundraising event towards our community youth scholarship efforts. Each year we award a minimum of ten $1,000.00 academic/need based scholarships to deserving students from within the Greater Huntsville Community without regards to sex, religion, race, gender, or origin. This year’s fundraising golf tournament will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 on the beautiful grounds of Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville, AL. We anticipate Three Flights (2 Males and 1 Female) with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners per flight. There will also be prizes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive per flight and players will also have the opportunity to compete in the Dixon Golf Fiesta Bowl $1 Million Dollar “Hole in One” Contest. Players that register by August 14th can sign up at a discounted rate of $90 per player and the cost will increase to $100 per player on the August 15th. Same day registration begins at 6:00am – 7:15am. The Two Man Scramble Shotgun Start Time is 7:30am. The 100 BMOGH, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. These programs were created to improve the quality of life in our community by encouraging our youth to be healthy, educated and contributing members of our society. One of our programs is called Men of Tomorrow (MOT). The MOT program goal is to encourage and guide mentee in life experiences that help develop a positive self-perception and self-respect, establish and pursue life-long goals, promote healthy personal relationships, and encourage excellence in education. The fulfillment of the 100’s vision, mission, and goals is largely dependent on financial and corporate resources, and individuals like yourself.
