HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of June 8, well more than half of Howard County residents (206,525 people or 63.4 percent) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 191,002 people (58.6 percent) have been fully vaccinated. There have been 19,401 total coronavirus cases so far as of June 8 and there are 9,608 active cases. Below is a list of clinics open this week. To register, visit https://www.howardcountymd.gov...Howard County opened a mass vaccination site in partnership with the state April 30. The mass vaccination site is located at the Mall in Columbia and operates Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can register for vaccines at this site and a variety of sites by using the state vaccine locator at https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine#locator.
