For kids of all agesThis program will be held OUTSIDE on the Brick Patio at the Denville Museum (right next door to the library)Our friends at Denville Voices for Racial Justice will be joining us to read stories and make a craft in commemoration of Juneteenth, a holiday that celebrates the freedom of enslaved people in Texas, which was the last state in the confederacy to abolish slavery on June 19, 1865Juneteenth is a celebration, and we would like to celebrate with YOU!To learn more about Juneteenth and get some tips to help teach your kids to be anti-racists, check out this link: https://www.pittwire.pitt.edu/news/how-talk-children-about-juneteenth Only kids need a "ticket" to register, NOT grown ups
