Shepherd-mix in foster needs loving forever home

We've been fostering a sweet, energetic, young shepherd-mix for a local rescue and he is need of his forever home. He is 1-year-old, about 35-40lbs. He is very friendly and loves other dogs. He would do well in a home with a yard and a dog companion. He loves the water and would make an excellent hiking or running buddy.
