This story was updated at 9:59 p.m. PARAMUS, NJ — The polls are closed, and unofficial results have come in for the uncontested Paramus council race. There are two available seats on the council, so no candidates will be eliminated after this primary contest, but the votes could still show us what to expect. Unofficial vote tallies are as follows: Holly Tedesco-Santos, D — 379Josephine Giugliano, D — 329Ace Antonio, R — 634Robert Kaiser, R — 635 Paramus voters could also cast votes for state Assembly and Senate candidates in the 38th District. Those candidates include: Assembly Lisa Swain, DP. Christopher Tully, DAlfonso Mastrofilipo Jr., RJerry Taylor, R Senate Joseph Lagana, DRichard Garcia, R The Tuesday election will determine a party nomination, and the results are unofficial until certified by the county clerk.
