Road Work On Colfax Avenue In Oakland Will Last Until June 20

OAKLAND, NJ — The road work that started this Monday on Colfax Avenue in Pompton Lakes near the Oakland border will last until June 20. Work is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project consists of concrete work, as well as milling and paving on the road surface. Delays are expected and there will be police officers on-site to assist with traffic. Officials are warning residents to be mindful of rough terrain when traveling through the work zone. Scheduled dates and times may change due to weather or other unforeseen events.
