COVID-19 Cases, Hospitalizations Continue Falling Across Colorado

DENVER, CO – Reported cases of COVID-19 continue to decrease, according to newly released health data. On Monday, Colorado reported 663 new COVID-19 cases, an increase of 190 cases from previously reported data. There have been a total of 532,389 COVID-19 cases across the state to date. The statewide seven-day moving average of cases reported is currently 1,001, down 25 from the previous seven-day average. New hospital admissions have increased 28 to 55, health officials reported Monday, with 40 percent of adult critical care ventilators in use. There are currently six percent of available hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients. There have been 29,240 COVID-19 patients hospitalized to date. As of Monday, the statewide positivity rate was 5.3 percent, p from 1.77% as previously reported. Colorado has tested 3,000,976 people for COVID-19, for a total of 8,259,329 test encounters. To date, there have been 6,572 COVID-19-related deaths and 5,246 COVID-19 outbreaks across the state.
