Jersey City Loews Theater To Host COVID-19 Benefit For India

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City's historic Loews Theater will be the site of a COVID-19 Benefit for relief in India this weekend. The benefit is titled 'To India With Love' and includes a classic Bollywood film screening along with an Indian dance performance, by Rimli Roy a Surati. Indian refreshments will be served. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and the event starts at 6 p.m. on June 12. The benefit is sponsored in part by Hudson County Community College Office of Cultural Affairs, Skyline Develoment, Curry On, Amiya and others. Donations are being collected online for families in India through the Loews Theater website.
