LIVERMORE, CA — Veterans of all ages who are enrolled in the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, officials said.
Appointments are necessary for the clinic, which will open Saturday at the Veteran Memorial Building in Livermore (522 S. L St.).
Veterans' caregivers are also eligible for a vaccine, so long as they are registered in the VA Caregiver Support Program, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Vets and registered caregivers can call 650-496-2535 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays to set up an appointment.
Anyone interested in enrolling in VA can call the hotline from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 877-222-8387.
