Rehoming our chocolate American staffordshire terrier due to not having enough time to train him. Hes about 3 years old, neutered, utd on vaccines (no papers), and microchipped. Hes VERY energetic and hardheaded so he needs someone whos experienced with the breed to give him the exercise and training he needs. Hes a good sweet dog, but has some bad habits that need worked on. With the right training he could be a great family dog. Positive traits: good with most people, loves to give kisses, LOVES to play with balls, would make a great workout buddy (running, jogging, pulling a bike, etc). Knows sit, stay, and lay down, and is potty trained. Negative traits: He likes to jump up, nip, bark, tear stuff up when bored, and pulls on the lead. Hes also possessive over food and toys, so with all of that he might not be a good fit for homes with children until he’s properly trained. Hes not a bad or vicious dog, hes just never been properly trained. Some adoption questions will be asked, experience with this breed is a MUST, and most have a vet reference.
