University of Rochester neuroscientists are currently seeking participants, ages 18-35, with no history of mental illness for a study that uses fMRI and ERG to examine visual perception. Eligible participants will complete 1-4 study sessions, each lasting up to 3 hours. Participants are paid $20 per hour. If eligible, participants may receive a picture of their own brain as a souvenir. Study sessions will take place at the University of Rochester Center for Advanced Brain Imaging and Neurophysiology (CABIN) located at 430 Elmwood Avenue. Transportation can be provided in some cases. To ensure appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions, the process for conducting in-person visits outlined by the CDC and the University of Rochester will be followed, and all study staff members are fully vaccinated.
