Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Jun 8, 2021 On June 7, 2021 at 6 am, Mobile Police responded to Betbeze Street and Mobile Street for a report of two men found in the roadway.  Upon arrival officers found Joshua Womble 11/04/1999 and Doreon Howard 01/11/2001 in the road with apparent gunshot wounds and the two men were pronounced dead on the scene.  Homicide Detectives responded to begin their investigation and have received information that indicates this is not a random act.    More information can be disseminated as it becomes available.  If anyone has information about this incident, please call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211 This press release was produced by the City of Mobile Police Department.
