By the time a solar system is installed on a rooftop, numerous decisions regarding its location, arrangement, module type, pricing, and financing have already been made based on the work of Solar Estimating.
We at Hyperion Solar Energy are a growing solar company with an opening for a Junior Solar Estimator. The candidate should be comfortable working with numbers as well as with people, organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks under tight deadlines. Duties include developing home energy usage estimates, designing preliminary solar layouts, working with solar financials.
The opening is for a full-time position from approximately 8:30am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday. Hyperion Solar Energy also offers medical and dental insurance coverage benefits and 401k.
Prior solar experience is not necessary, as we will train the right candidate. Candidates should be qualified for an entry level position in solar estimating by having serious interest in the realm of science, math, engineering, energy or architecture as demonstrated by prior education or experience. We are looking for someone who can learn the ropes quickly and, in time, add value to the operation, and grow with our company for the long term.
