Applicant should have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours. Hours of availability must include weekends and holidays. Job description includes providing day-to-day guidance and training to junior Pet Care Assistants, serving as 'supervisor on duty' while maintaining primary responsibility for delivering care to pets in boarding facilities. Feeds and waters animals according to schedules. Controls and restrains animals as required. Cleans, changes, and disinfects cages, pens, yards; sanitizes animal rooms, hallways, and ancillary equipment. Transfers animals between quarters. May exercise animals. Minimum of 1 year job-specific work experience required.
