Pierz Veterinary Clinic is looking for some "behind the scenes" help! Main duties will be housekeeping, such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces and windows, laundry, also cleaning, packing and sterilizing surgery packs/gowns. Also help keeping bathrooms clean, exam rooms, surgery and treatment areas, we have a detached house as a break quarters with a full kitchen that needs to be kept. We are looking for someone who also can use a riding lawn mower, push lawn mower, weed whipper, leaf blower, snow blower and will help shovel snow away from buildings and along walkways in the winter. Another excellent quality would be knowledge of general maintenance, like changing furnace filters, replacing fluorescent light bulbs, knowing how to change oil in a lawn mower, or helping fix and maintain all facilities, (for example if a door knob needs replacing). At times, our veterinarians, technicians and assistants may need help restraining an animal, walking an animal, or preparing supplies for a treatment or surgery. Over time we would train how to properly restrain as well as other duties, like putting away inventory or checking patients in and out. Full time position: Mon-Fri 7:30 - 4:30.
