Required Qualifications Good interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment. Must meet minimum age requirements. Successful experience as a meal associate or previous meat cutting experience. Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. Essential Job Functions once trained · Preform the tasks assigned on a timely basis · Follow directions from your direct supervisor · Identify all Poultry cuts and produce them · Follow all USDA regulated procedures · Demonstrate the ability to distinguish between bird sizes · Follow all orders to customer specifications · Properly weigh, label, and store all products Duties and Responsibilities 1. Comply with all company policies and governmental regulations 2. Meet or exceed all management Planning guidelines 3. Treat all Co-workers with Fairness, Kindness, and Respect. 4. Develop Knowledge of all areas of operation 5. Be aware of all price and packing changes 6. Assist in the proper organization and labeling of all storage areas 7. Assist in the training of other employees when assigned 8. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance always, comply with company personal appearance policy 9. Maintain solid communication in the department and throughout the organization 10. Support the company safety standards. Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed 11. Observe and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards 12. Perform all other duties assigned Physical Requirements 1. Lift cases or packages of mean products weighing up to 40lbs frequently and 80lbs on occasions 2. Meet established volume activity standards 3. Stand or walk 100% of the time while working in temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit the majority of the time. 4. Preform repetitive grasping, twisting, reaching and hand/arm motions as the product is identified, wrapped, priced, and weighed. 5. Use hands continuously to feel objects, use tool and equipment to cut and prepare poultry. 6. Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packing materials, and poultry products.
