A Passion For Paws Rescue, Inc. is a charity that saves the lives of Akitas and other large breed dogs. We are 100% volunteer-run. We need Volunteer Adoption Counselors to assist adopting our dogs out to prospective homes. Each adoption takes between 1.5 to 3 hours and you can work on your own schedule once trained. During each adoption, you would educate potential adopter about the Akita breed, go over terms of the adoption contract, and follow remaining procedures to complete adoption. Will train. No breed experience necessary, however, it is very helpful if you have BIG DOG experience. There is NO NEED for you to handle dogs, there would be a trained dog handler to assist you the entire time.
